The British Motor Industry Heritage Trust owns
collections which record the history of motor car manufacture in Britain.
The central aim is to collect, for the benefit of the nation, motor
vehicles, artefacts and archive material relating to the British motor
industry.
The Trust owns a wide range of historical items which help describe the long
and varied history of the motor industry, since its early beginnings more
than one hundred years ago. Every item that it collects has been made by or
is connected to British motor manufacturers.
The collection is housed at the Heritage
Motor Centre at Gaydon, Warwickshire, where there are over 150 motor cars,
and numerous other motoring artefacts on display.
